Trending @Infosys; How to get release from current project ASAP.

My manager doesnt know that i got one opportunity outside my current unit and the new unit hr is asking me if i can get release from current project, if yes when?.
I am just fed up with my lead and manager coz from 2 years the project has got to its lowest point and toxicity has been increasing exponentially.

Please suggest how can i approach to my manager and can get him in releasing me as early as possible

If it's in IJP, your current management can't hold you back.

Its not an IJP thats what i am concerned about, how should i approach my manager with this ?

Can you ask the management team from new unit to create IJP for it,If they can

Tell your manager you need a release due to personal reasons. If they resist, escalate to higher management or HR. Be firm and persistent. Toxicity isn't worth your health.
