Trending @Infosys; Hike for bench ppl !!!!
Hello , I have been on bench for almost a year recently only I have entered into a project. But till the i count cycle fill up I was in bench . Now will I be still eligible for any appraisal or hike ? If any hike how much it might be ??
Currently my i count is still showing frozen heard Hr needs to send mail for me .

Less chances. What was ur previous rating? A colleague was fired bcoz he was on bench in past and bad rating in past, even though he was working good in proj for 2-3 months.

Previously it was met expections I got once .so i most probably i won't get any hike and there is possibility i might get fired even though currently iam in project, that's what u saying?

If u get NI rating this time then ur in danger. Hang tight, but start navigating ur next. Best wishes.

I have a question....I'll be joining Infosys as a associate consultant ( ORC or ESAP )
How is the career growth ?
And will i get project ?

I can't speak for u as ur a experience guy switching to infy , as i started here as fresher with basic role I can speak for mine , terrible growth u feel so stagnation in here , lot of bench time , and forget about hikes this is the consecutive 4th time infy delayed hikes , as I said this is based on my experience and peers of same level ,idk much about higher job level people's cases

Im joining via off campus placement

Your hike will be dependent on your Ratings & eligibility criteria and not whether you are on a bench or a project.
But obviously your ratings will be based on your manager & appraiser who might consider your Bench time, Billable percentage, Projects, skills, other activities etc..

I got NI rating , am i in trouble? Will I be put to pip for sure ?

Yes, you are in the Danger zone & they might put you in PIP. Last year people who got NI ratings were put in PIP( if assigned to project/convinced HR during discussion) or asked to resign immediately (if they are in bench for too long). But don't worry & upskill yourself and try to align to a project and work hard & they will put you in PIP and if you pass PIP, then you are out of danger zone.
