I got promotional increment letter on Dec 17th and mentioned as effective from Oct 2024. So, I had hopes about incremented salary this month. But got the notification in infyme ( My same old salary amount 😞).
Anything wrong here? Or will get incremented oct,nov,dec salary in January 2025 ?
Ohh then if your new JL is JL5 and Below then probably you'll get salary with arears in Jan and you'll get or not get Hike 50/50 chance because of recent role change if you get it'll be less. And if you new JL is JL6 and Above hike decision will be taken from April and likely you'll get hike but for JL6 it's always low in most cases and your recent promotion won't help your case either so it'll be probably in lower single digit as usual
My level is JL5 now and I got hike letter with 17.5% and updated new CTC in infyme as well. Eventhough I won't get hike you mean ?
You should get Hike now effective Jan but it depend on PM DM and how they are distributing hike within team, bass on ratings, favors, politics, if someone has less salary then little bit more for them ect factors then either they won't give you hike saying you've just got promoted and received good hike (earlier JL5 promotion hike was caped to 12.49% it's increased by 5%) or they'll give you hike may be bit less than avg citing same reasons even if you have OS rating so its all depend on them
Probably from January salary you will get it and for Oct - dec you will get arrears in January salary
