Everyone I have joined Infosys in June 2022 but got no hike or promotion till date. Got rating as met expectation. I have good rapport with manager, he gave commendable rating but reviewer changed it to met expectation.
Reviewer has realised he made a mistake. I don't know if something can be done before they release revised compensation letter in June. If he wants can he increase % hike I get despite of the rating. Any point in talking to him ? Can anyone please guide..
Are they just playing me ?
Infosys or not, corporates are all the same, my friend. They'll squeeze every drop of work out of you and then give you a lollipop called 'met expectation'. You're not a school kid to be satisfied with a pat on the back. Stand up, demand what you deserve. If your reviewer has made a mistake, let him correct it. If he doesn't, then he's not fit to be a reviewer. And your manager, he's just a puppet in the hands of the higher-ups. Don't rely on him. Take the matter to HR, let them know you won't be fooled. And if nothing works, remember, the world is big and opportunities are endless. You're not a tree, if you're not happy, move. "Jahan na pahuche ravi, wahan pahuche kavi". Now, tell me, are you ready to fight for your rights or will you continue to be a puppet in their hands?
