Trending @Infosys; Hi, i have got an apportunity to work in UK. When i asked about the allowance they are saying approx 46k you will get. which i think its next to impossible to servive along with family..any suggestion do i go ahead with the apportunity?
Cost of living is very high in UK. It won’t be that much convenient with 46k and you need to calculate tax etc.
I havent found the option for uk in global comunity in infy app as well...do any know how much FIS will get on uk deputation..or where i get the details

It depends upon your offshore package + your band + your experience + your role. In UK, ICT first year no tax, 2year 20% , 3rd onwards it should be 30% . You need to cross check current tax slab rate. If you take your family assuming 2 kids, the cost of living approx 2500 to 2800 pm This includes day to day expenses + family entertainment
You will not be able to survive with this amount. Just check with people who are. Living there
Ask for the allowances which is more than average. This will not enough.
