Trending @Infosys; Hi , i am in PIP
its been alredy a month i still have month to go!! I have been given unnecessary and difficult task to complete which i dont think even my TL or manager would do! They hired me as L3 technical support gave me the task to script and automate their daily sanity/healthcheck which even developer struggle to do! I m in pip because of my previous project and manager! In this project am doing pretty good and even tl and colleagues have postivi feedback about it! My manager seems to be good but am not sure why he have given such hard tasks!! My question is july 19 is my 60 days completion what would happen like if they are not happy they cant terminate me right as am alredy billable and direct source for client! They may ask to resign if i resign will that me immediate leaving the company or still have to serve 3 month notice period! Everyday i am tightly packed with work like they are jot even treating me like i am the person in pip or so no mercy no one checks what is the progress about the task if i need any help if i am stuck!! Please advice guys

Bro similar situation here, PIP due previous project, 1 month over, review meeting done. Though the new manager has put decent review comments but I am not sure he will pass me the pip. So started aggressively applying for jobs outside. My pip over date is 23 June, hence I have like 14 days left, so I am preparing for interviews. Let’s see what happens. Job market is little down but I am hopeful.

All the best buddy. You will make it.

Same situation here. What will happen after pip?

Pip goal is added by new manager he literally had no idea that i have got NI because by the time they interviewed and took me i was in bench! I feel my HR is bad and she did somethng here! I am not assuming he is happy in checkins he gave me positive feedback got to know tht he was checking about me with my colleagues and TL and all. He never checked my progress with the tasks he gave!! Those goals were suggested by my TL to improve client interaction! Even he is unbothered daily assigning work related BAU keeping me busy!! And not helping

Few question- Who has raised PIP goal previous manage or current manager. Cause you are saying new manager is happy if he is happy he would not have put tough goals. If 30 days over did you have review if not initiate one from your end. From the time of your manager you will know what he has in mind. Yes logically if you are in new project and billable and current manager happy you should not failing PIP. But manager happy is your perception . Is it reality we don’t know. If he is actually happy you won’t have to worry as he won’t want to lose billable resource . But if he is not happy he can fail you in PIP. You will be relived immediately, no notice period or pay.
