Trending @Infosys; H1b visa confusion
Got my H1B petition approved and waiting for visa stamping.
Feeling a bit stuck in this H1B loop—thinking of switching companies, but the big question in my mind is: Will Infosys ever send me on-site to the US?
For context, I’m working in middleware/integration tools. Should I hold out for that on-site opportunity or make the switch now? 🤔

I have been holding an H1B visa for the past 1 year now, Being in Infy is just a waste of time even if you have H1B. Don't wait just switch if your situation agrees and if you are getting the offers, just leave. There is no point in waiting here unless, location constraint or certain dependency.

Why wait. Just get your petition nunber and join a contracting company like randstad who will inmedyely send you if you have a visa stamped even if not stamped any will take you if you have approved petitio

Switch companies bro! Infosys rarely sends ppl on-site, especially in middleware. Better opportunities and pay elsewhere. Don't get stuck in the loop. Make the switch now! 💪

With Trump coming to presidency the nightmares H1b had from 2016-20 will repeat. Especially for Indian service based companies. Plus our last coo went overboard to please usbgovt and ended up recruiting a large number of citizens whom now they can’t fire when on bench. Cause they can’t be seen as firing citizens and bringing H1b from India. So if you have H1b move to contracting companies and Or smaller companies or is headquartered companies your chances are better.
