Hi, How can we apply for H1B visa in Infy?
Ask your manager to nominate you for the visa next year. It will be mostly in March where applications are accepted for the lottery
That’s the best case scenario. You ask and manager get it’s done immediately. You need prove your worth, know manager of you aspiration , start pushing december. There will already be big queue. If manager agree then at mercy of lottery, if lottery clears then at mercy of top management to file. ( this year they didn’t file petition for many lottery selected folks) . Once filed then at mercy of USCIS folks who under trump will reject more than select. If selected find a suitable project where you can travel which will again be difficult as on-site bench is high because high US citizen recruitment by prior COO Ravi kunar. Now under trump infy will think twice before firing them . They will have preference over you. If you get one project you have to get is an stamped . Again big risk of rejection under trump regime. So to be honest really not worth it going forward
