One of my friend has been forcefully made to resigned without an option of PiP, He had NI rating For NI rating there is option to either opt for PIP or resign immediately with few months of salary.

I attended a meeting in January where hr said if u know that someone may not pass pip then ask them to resign instead of raising pip.
