Trending @Infosys; Getting stressed because of low salary
I joined infosys as a fresher after completing my degree and I have been working for 4 years in the same project as a test engineer and even after getting commendable rating last year and outstanding rating this year after this year hike I am only getting 3.9L as gross salary, my salary only increased by 1k. I am fed up nowadays I put so much effort on my work since I didn’t get any last year I thought I will get more hike this year but it only increased 1k. I am feeling very tired and stressed because of this. Should I switch to another company?
Bro please keep switch as your 1st option mostly you can get 100% or even more like 150-200% if you are great at your skills and interview cracking ability.
If not second option would be too test and resign. If you are critical resource for them and they are dependent on you for work, definitely you should have got 60% or atleast 40-50% this January since many of them including me got promotion and good hikes this year.
I also joined as fresher in December 2021 as system engineer trainee then engineer then senior system engineer and now after 3 years on December i resigned because my package was just 4.16lpa. Since many other resources left the company from my project including my team leader who was hard working as hell still he was not given 30% as retention to stay in company and now he is doing good in IBM and other colleagues were not even asked regarding why they are leaving or something like that bu their managers or HR they didn’t care much. But i got promoted not retained on 10th jan that i was promoted to Technology Analyst and package increased from 4.16lpa to 6.83 lpa. So i took my paper back. Still after few months or after 4 years i would still switch since 6.83 is also less as per what my friends packages are at around 10-12 lpa.
So last option would be if you don’t get jobs or Infosys don’t retain you you can pull back your papers before last week.

There should be no second thought bro try to give interview in another company othrwise you will get fall into trap of comfort zone
If you are confident about your skills and think you are not getting job offer because of 3 month notice period .. then go ahead and resign u ll get many offers as an immediate joiner .. u can easily get 10-12 ctc now
If you are OS candidate be bold and straight talk to your DM and drop him an official email and what you want. They can get you a hike through proactive retention if you are a critical resouce

High salaries come with additional responsibilities. Please discuss with your manager that you are interested to take additional roles and that will help you to pitch for more salary
