Joined infy nearly 4 years back. Gave best in all trainings, but no project. Sat on bench nearly 1.5 years. Given lot of reskilling training., gave best in all trainings but no proper project. Got a project, was working on it and learned things but removed from project due to re-org. Again got new project and going on. Due to less time in project, no time to prove strength. Due to this past ratings all are ME. No hike, no promotion. People who were in my generic and stream training got promotion to JL4, 9 month ago. But here i am still waiting for my promotion. Those people who got promotion 9 months back are the people who used to ask me to teach them in stream training. But luckily they got project and got good recognition. But me here suffering to get recognition. Pinged manager for promotion but no response.
I gave my best in training I gave my best to get nee certifications in bench I am giving my best in this current project
Still no hike, no promotions, no recognition., nthg. Is it a curse ?

Sometimes luck plays it role !! 9 months is not a big deal in big scheme of things. Your next company will not look at yiur current role but your current skill set. So if you think things are not quote happening the way you want. Start reaching out both within and outside the company
