Trending @Infosys; Fresher on the bench

I am a specialist programmer and I am on bench I am worried I'll get removed or face consequences but more importantly my concern is that I joined infosys last year as a fresher it has been 5 months and even though on paper I have this exp but no real project experience to show. This is making me concerned about my personal growth too. I have heard March is usually the time the company receives new projects is it so ? What should I do? How long will I be on the bench
