I am working in infosys , recently my team lead and BA pressurizing me a lot to complete tasks fast . I have 1 yr 10 months experience . I am under high pressure, they are humiliating me everytime . Asking me to read 6000 lines code and to solve it within 1 day. What shall I do? I am helpless! Please share some feedback
Take time to complete the task. Say that you'll try to do it. Ignore what they say
You need to document it. When they ask to do some task ask them to send via email. If they are not ready to send via email, you email them saying this task has been assigned to me this day to complete by this day I have completed xyz% will complete in next xxdays. Than share these emails to HR and senior management.
You need to escalate this issue to HR or higher management. Document everything. Also, consider upskilling or looking for internal job portals (IJP) for a better role. Stay strong.
Is it 1yr and 10 months in the same project? I am assuming you are working in a support project and working on bugs or small enhancements.. I think it’s wrong expectation management from tech lead and BA , to expect to read 6000 LOC and fix things. I have seen these kind of problem mostly in remote teams
