Trending @Infosys; Feeling devasted in infy?

Hi All,

Let me tell my story to everyone here in infy. I was scholar student in my college days and during my campus placement I got placed in one of the biggest service based company in 2015. Till 2019 I worked there and then join infosys.(I was having offer from zensar but unfortunately I joined Infosys and now after looking 5 years back I think that was my biggest carrier mistake). In my first service base company I got chance to work on some development project so I could able to switch in 4.5 years). Since I joined infy most of the time I was in support project( to be precised they made situation like I should accept support project only. Ex. Project Refusal Policy, If we fight with tpd and hiring manager then also they will put in any project as per there wish). My overall experience is almost 10 years(more than 5 year's in infy) now I lose interest in my work due to these support project, office politics in infy, useless work from office policy, intentionally giving someone low rating , fear of PIP, onsite chance to bootlicker people in team, no recognition from senior management, the way senior manager talks with junior is also pathetic here. I am single earner in my family and need to clear few loan which I took. I am trying to switch company but due to 3 months notice period and as I am not working in development project since long time I could not able to crack interviews which is giving me lot of tress mentally. Due to all this situation sometimes I think I should leave this organisation now itself and come outside all this diallema which is practically not possible due to my economic situation. I don't know how to come out of this situation I am feeling devasted in infy😭. Please suggest how to handle all this.

Simply Amazed to see how we all didn't research all these things before joining. I thought it's just me but mostly everyone was effected by such policies and going through a lot.

Take the next 3 to 6 months to focus intensely on strengthening your skills. Choose a technology you’re already familiar with—such as Java Spring Boot—and work diligently to deepen your expertise. Once you feel confident in your abilities, start applying and attending interviews.

If you reach a point where you’re confident in your skills but feel that your 90-day notice period is limiting your opportunities, you can consider resigning and use that notice period to actively search for a new role. It’s also worth noting that many companies are open to candidates with a 90-day notice period.

This is the worst feeling. I've been here for 8.9 years. Struggled with personal life during covid and just recently started working on personal development, and market is shit, no opportunities for support projects outside.
