When you give a bad feedback about a manager through pulse, do they come to know who has given this kind of feedback or they never know and also please tell me how to give a bad feedback about the manager?

I posted a low rating in pulse recently not because of manager but because of lack of transparency in salary hike communication. My manager called me the next day of everything was alright with me . So I don't think all these surveys are anonymous tbh
