Retention hike would nowhere be near the hike that another company gives you in the offer. So, prefer to move out instead unless you want to still stick to Infy with minimal hike.

As long as the manager and client are benefiting from you, they will retain you; otherwise, they don't care. That's just how the world works.

If u r the only critical resource in the team and the client really needs u, then maybe yes. If not, no. Switching is preferable though

Infosys does try to retain employees by offering hikes or promotions, but it's not always enough to change minds. It really depends on individual circumstances and management decisions.

No. I worked really hard and 2 times got outstanding rating. But manager did nothing to retain.
