
Trending @Infosys; CTC and in hand salary at Infy varies a lot
Despite of getting a good CTC, in hand is very less all because of the quaterly bonus thing. While many people are fortunate to get 80-100% bonus, others feel disappointed. So what's your take on this?


Just to give context, when I joined they say like you can performance bonus over 100% as well but the latest one I got was around 63% it almost creates a 10k of difference in monthly salary

Nothing to be disappointed if you did the calculations while joining. I have been in organizations where variable pay is 0 or 100% nothing in between. Variable means variable - expecting to get a constant percent is your folly. Any day I will not include variable pay for my salary negotiations or for my decisions to join an organization. Yes it’s a differnt case when you are joining high growth orgs but not plateaued companies like infosys. There was a time when infosys also used to give 100+ variable pay. But those days are long gone. Some smaller high growth units within infosys still get it but most don’t.
