Trending @Infosys; Concern Regarding Performance Rating During Notice Period

I am currently serving my notice period, with my last working day on 8 January 2026. I was recently given an Underperformance rating, which was unexpected. In my previous review cycle, I received a Commendable rating along with multiple appreciations and Insta Awards. When I asked my manager about the reason, he stated that assigning the rating to me was easier since I am already leaving, and otherwise it would affect another employee. I am concerned that performance ratings should be based solely on actual performance and not on an employee’s notice period. Since this may impact future opportunities, I would like guidance on whether I should formally raise this with the Delivery Manager or HR, and whether any further action is appropriate.

Avtually ..whatever your manger said is true!!. Thats how managers tag NI or UP performance to leaving employees, so that it will be easy and these ratings will not impact to staying employees.

Since you are alreeady leaving, challenging rating will not help, they can setup discussions post your last date, citing busy with the higher and critical issues. Instead focus on the new compnay joining and exit formalities!!

What should i do now , do i raise any concern or let it be as it, just want to know will this impact if i want to join infy back after a year later.
