Trending @Infosys; Company laptop display is broken

My company's laptop screen is broken a bit from the bottom, not sure how i came from tea break and i saw the display broken, and it has affected partial display of the laptop,

What do i do? I have raised a damage asset request but it says repair charges are around 8k and insurance claim is 0, can i still claim the charges of the repair or how is it?

raise AHD simple. mine also got damaged during covid. got replaced, no questions asked. visit ccd they will do it in minutes.

I don’t think you have to be worries about it at all. Infosys must have a process in place and I think no money will be asked.

Haha no actually i have already raised a request to ccd under laptop issues also raised damage asset request but since i wasnt getting any response, meanwhile i thought of asking for any alternatives here in case anyone knows:)

My keyboard got damaged, so took it to office. As laptop within warranty, they raised request to Lenovo. Service team came from Lenovo and replaced keyboard. I didn't pay anything as it is covered in warranty. Better check with service team in office.

@PositiveSoul I also accidentally damaged LCD , CCD is saying laptop is not warranty so I'll have to pay fine and 2 keys are not working for that 6k now , I mean after using laptop for 3 years there will be wear and tear , it's ok to ay for damaged LCD but for 2 keys 6k. dis you pay anything?
