Trending @Infosys; Cleared the interview but how to deal about notice period?
Hi guys,
I got a call from one external HR for a requirement in Bangalore location.
She asked me about my experience and notice period, I told her that my notice period is 90 days but I can negotiate and can join 30 days. So, she scheduled my technical interview in last week, I attended the interview and today I got call from her that I cleared the technical interview and scheduling HR interview in next week.
So I am confused here that how to answer her about my notice period? because I know infosys will not release me in 30 days. Please suggest some tips:

Tell that official NP is 90 days...but I am in the project which is about to end in 30-45 days and i don't have any dependencies. I think i can manage to get released in 30-45 days....
When ur joining days will be nearing , you can tell the HR that unnecessary my current company is making me sit asking to serve 90 days....still i am trying to negotiate....but kindly give me an extension to so and so date....

Okay, thank you for this suggestion.

You can ask your reporting manager each day for the early release. Reach out to HR, JL6, JL7 and ask again and again for the same question. They will then release you in 40-45 days without buyout.
But too much follow up like this will they not become irritated by this much pestering.I also hope this works but you know have this dilemma that how they will take this at their end.

Please post if you find any solutions, for me after salary negotiations also not releasing and not telling client want quick joiner , 90days no one giving now

Which company is this? If this is a bigger company, they’d have a buyout. You’ll have to relentlessly convince infy management to reduce notice period or buy it out. It’s a tough task. But not impossible.
If it’s a bigger SBC that also has a 90 day notice period, there is a TINY chance that they’ll be OK with the 90 day joining.

Okay, this is MNC so I think they will have a option of buyout.

But I already told them that I can negotiate with my manager.

Ask them if they can buyout your np days
