Trending @Infosys; Clarification on Work From Office Attendance for Holiday on 10th April (Mahaveer Jayanti)

Hey there,

Writing to seek clarification regarding attendance for Work From Office (WFO) days.

While my base DC location is Noida, But I am currently reporting from nearby dc i.e. the Kolkata DC. So on 10th April, Mahaveer Jayanti was observed as a mandatory holiday in Noida. As a result, I did not report to the Kolkata DC on that day.

I would like to confirm whether this holiday will be considered as a valid WFO day for me...

Holiday are based on your base location. If it's holiday in base location than it will be considered as leave

Holiday is not based on base location, it's depends on allocation location. My base location is Kolkata and my allocation won/swon is Chandigarh location, I am getting holiday as per Chandigarh location.

Some units count holidays as wfo, some do not. But organisation wide holidays are wfo. It should be a valid WFO as per compliance is considered.
