I could see you are an senior engineer and i don't think i'm the right person to talk about this but still wanted to share my experience about the internet bills .I was a senior systems engineer worked for infy from 2021 sep to april 2024 and i got terminated from infy on april 2024 without any prior notice for submitting broadband bills which were there in my roomate's name and they were not claimed elsewhere and they had found that and raised an audit to check my all the bills and asked me to submitt all the original bills from the day I started infosys ,during my initial days I was at home i used to recharge for my mobile as i was using my mobile hotspot and i used to put screen shots of the payments and these infy claim approval hr team started asking me to submitt the original bills from the day 1 joined.

I submitted whatever bills i had eveen with the recharge messages and they were not ready to take those and planned for my termination saying You had voilated the company policy ,no help from manager ,no advice from mangers ,hr's ,just direct termination on a single day , everything went from morning to evening I got separation mail at the end of the day,now i'm jobless for the last 3 months and getting some calls but when hr ask me why did you leave you job I have been telling them I left. Due to some health issues and now if i got selected in any other company and afraid of the background verification thinking all the day that i will get catch during bgv and infosys is going to disclose that i got terminated for violating company policy.It's ruining my complete day thinking all the day about that bgv only and I not able to concentrate on my studies as well .

Hope you guys won't get stuck in this situation if any one had uploaded bill which are in others name thinking that nothing is going to happend as all my bills are auto approving ,dont think in such a way ,dont know hell might come from anywhere and I 'm sure if it comes it will comes from HR people only .

Last but not least,they took my 22 k claimed money from last 2.5 yrs money back at the end without any 3 months pay . I' m now jobless,living in one of my fried room and have been searching for the job and afraid of this BGV

The best you can do is always recharge from your operator app like my jio or airtel app because their the invoice gets generated.

Yes you can just raise the claim as you raise for wifi and then just submit the invoice of recharge which you did upto 700 rs
