I am a DSE joined almost 2 years ago as a fresher. My friend who joined 2.5 years ago as System Engineer is promoted to Senior Systems Engineer. So in similar way what is the next role for DSE? And when & how to get progression?

Need to maintain milestone points for the progression and promotion.
DSE L0 -> DSE L1 (progression)-> L2 -> DSS(promotion) and so on.

Yes, but consider one more scenario, one of my friend working in another company at 4.5 LPA joined Infosys as SSE at 6.7 LPA.
