Trending @Infosys; Career Guidance for Transitioning to SAP MM Consultant
Hi All,
For the past 3 years, I have been working as an SAP MM end user at Infosys, focusing on procurement processes. I come from a Computer Science background and am currently in the final year of my B.Tech. Initially, I did not have a strong interest in SAP MM, but over time, I have developed a keen interest and am now considering pursuing a career as an SAP MM consultant through professional training.
If I successfully upskill over the next 12 months and seek opportunities in a different company, what salary range could I expect, given that I would have 4 years of SAP MM experience? Additionally, could anyone provide guidance on the roadmap to becoming an SAP MM consultant? Is this the best choice for me, or should I consider exploring other SAP modules?
Thank you for your insights and guidance.

With 4 years of SAP MM experience, expect a salary in the range of $70,000 to $100,000. Focus on certifications and real-world projects. SAP MM is solid, but SAP S/4HANA might be better.

Thanks for your insights, I guess $70,000 might be according to US market. For India market can I expect 10+ LPA? Currently I am on 3.6 LPA🙂

Yeah you may expect 12L+ salary with 4 year experience in SAP MM , if you have implementation experience + S4 you may expect 15 + even. But will be depends on your skill how you show yourself during interview.

For 3 to 3.5yrs salary for Mm cons may range from 7.5 LPA & above
