I have got selected for H-1b visa this year. My manager is looking for opportunities but is there way to search on-site opportunities by myself in Infosys. If yes how u can search ?

There are many employees including myself waiting for US assignment from more than a year. But there is no requirement as of now.

Also it depends on your technology as well.

Nope there is no formal way. You need to reach out to US client projects within your unit. But why would your manager want to release you !!anyways if yiu got selected this year there is still lot time before you need to search for a project/ you can’t travel before next jan

No manager will not release me but for safer side I also want to look for opportunities. He said he has some openings with him.

Even if you find one and he doesn’t have any he won’t release you !! One your visa is stamped you can start searching

Your manager needs to submit your nomination for h-1b lottery. Then it’s luck.. lottery system is there

You can check in your infyme next to ijp in learning and career portal you can see project opportunities if you have valid visa you can able to see opportunities in the portal for onsite
