Trending @Infosys; Can I ask client to refer me in their company?

I am working in Microsoft account in infosys. It's my dream to one day join microsoft. I have a good relationship with client. Can I ask for a referral? What will happen if my Manager knows about it? Is there an anti poaching policy ?

It will be part of the MSA. Your manager from Microsoft will also be mid level manager and do you think he will take risk for you . Very unlikely . If it would have been in USA , no problem. In India also, it’s not that Infosys will engage a lawyer for a 25L salary person. It’s more that the MS manager will not do it because it will be breach. This keeps on happening , but I don’t think going through your manager will be a good idea.
