Trending @Infosys; Can anyone explain the effect of the H1B Visa fee hike on Infosys? Does it mean fewer sites or no onsites?

At this cost there will be no new H1B applications from next year too high a cost upfront service companies like infosys can’t afford. Companies like google Microsoft may still continue to use at-least as part of the rotational policy to give people global exposure. As of no direct impact to people who currently have h1b selections till year 2025. But what it mean is h1b is squarely on target of Trump. When the President is giving such vocal directions the whole immigration department works in way that there will be more rejections in all steps of H1b including extensions , amendments, visa interviews , initial h1b approvals. We will be back to 2018-19 times where atleast 30-40% of people who were in US from service companies like infosys had to come back. Other smaller organisations folks were doing fine as they were not targeted. Now everyone is at risk. I think there will be still some litigations and it may not go through. But trust if we if you somehow reach there it will always like a sword hanging around your neck. It’s already has many complicated steps and having an anti h1b administration means every step is a nightmare . Bye bye US dreams. If you harbour such dreams only option is try for MS and then do PHD!!
