Trending @Infosys; Bench Alcon Frozen for entire month
My Alcon for a month got frozen as bench. Though I am working on project with client , my manager failed to procure project code . Now manager is saying Alcon is frozen, nothing can be done for past month. I worked in good faith and kept reminding him of the bench Alcon still this happened.
Is it possible to update Alcon retrospectively to clear the bench duration once project code is generated?
Yes past month cannot be changed as far as I know. But it’s not really a big deal. This is normal, sometimes contracts with clients take time to get signed up hence delay in project code creation. But we start work in good faith. This is mostly in Fixed price projects .
The bench allocation means IJP counter resets to zero. I was about to complete 18 months in this project and was looking forward to promotional IJP

Bro you need to involve the person who raised your demand for the project. Tell your manager that since you are on the bench you won't be able to work due to the conflict in alcon.
Ask your manager to raise ahd to resolve this issue
