Trending @Infosys; Base location change
My base location in the system is Chennai MCity, but I have been working from the Sholinganallur DC. Recently I received an email from HR asking me to work from my base location (MCity). My manager is fine with me continuing from Shols, but he is not able to raise a location transfer request to Shols in the system. Is there any way to get my base location officially changed to Shols, or can HR provide any exception so that I can continue working from Shols with my manager’s approval?

There some restriction for transfer from SEZ to STP. I think (not sure) shols is STP. Also doesn’t have enough space. This is happening for Hyderabad as well. SEZ folks who were working from STP till now have started getting emails . And system doesn’t allow transfer. So not sure if we have a choice
