Trending @Infosys; Associate Consultant vs Technology Analyst

Hi team,

I was told by one of the kind souls here that Technology Analyst role will automatically be applied once we are done with SSE in 1 year or 1 year and 3 months or so. We also have an option to step up to Associate Consultant role via IJP.

Which one out of these two is better in terms of hike? Also, does applying via IJP to Associate Consultant role guarantees the release from the current project? Is it a technical or non-technical role once released? Please let me know. Thanks!

Role change to TA is not automatic, it needs manager's recommendation.
If you apply via IJP for ACON, you'll be auto released in 2 months. Acon is both technical/non technical.

Not sure which is better. but yes if infy is hiring then acon is paid higher than TA
