Trending @Infosys; Anyone moved to Mexico for an onsite opportunity?

A friend mentioned some of his team members are getting sent to Mexico for an onsite opportunity. Since US visas are hard to get, they're expanding the office in Mexico.

Anyone here who has moved to Mexico? How's the experience been? Salary, safety, growth issues?

Mexico is very dangwrous country to move. Check google, crime rate is very very high. Robbery, drug cartels, murders are common in the entire Mexico. Do not fall prey to such trap. Choose US, Canada, APAC nations or Middle Eastern, Aus/NZ. Avoid Mexico and african nations.

Its myth that US visas are hard to sent. US already have 100+ resources on bench and planned ti send them back ASAP to reduce the cost!! . The fact is that Mexico and US/CANDA timezone almost same and cost of living in Mexico is still lower. Infy wants to reduce the cost by sending to different country with lesser package. On the amount part, we sent few folks to Mexico. I need to get more details.
