Seems every unit DMs was instructed to make it mandatory but most of them I heard were for JL4, but you being in JL5 got the email?

JL 6 and senior people are mandates first to come to office. Juniors come after them

They will not approve exceptions, need to do WFO as per what the WFH portal shows.
