According to my knowledge, consulting or an associate or senior associate consultant is just a destination, doesn't mean you will only be a part of consulting, myself an associate consultant where my work is of Developer

Mine was a one off case. It might not be true for everyone else. I come with niche skill set, and I had applied for IJP to IC, got selected, moved to IC. But as I was at offshore during that time my billing was not as per IC standard, and which impacted by own compensation. In the meanwhile , IL wanted me to come back with higher compensation for a key account . Hence I moved back. Overall IC pays slightly better than Infosys, but work wise I don’t see much difference

Just want to know if they hyper focused on PPt/ white papers, POV and expect everyone to contribute on that from. Or you can survive based on your bill ability / SME knowledge alone. I am confident that I can get the billability in my domain asi have IC folks doing the same work as I do in my account. But am wary of the other part

POV’s and white papers are definitely a value add, but not mandatory.. at some point in your career, you will be intrested to do that
