Trending @Infosys; Announced maternity ) got NI rating) back from ML) being called to offc for PIP

i was given NI rating in Jan. at that time my manager told pip is not necessary for everyone and in your case HR will not raise the same once yoh are back from maternity. now i m back from maternity and immediately they are calling me to office for pip discussion. I am a mother of 6 month old and i m in my hometown. I have cervicle spondilytis . i asked them to allow wfh, provided medical, but they rejected. I am totally confused what to do. I dont have any written proof of my managers false info about (exceptional case of not raising PIP) . i feel totally trapped now . not even enjoying with my baby. i just want to leave the org with max benefits which i can take. i have 15 earmed leaves. so will that get encashed in case i resign? should i resign? or accept pip? what happens if i fail pip?

You should resign because you need time and mental peace to recover from the postpartum and take care of your baby.

Didn't they give you notice period?

Recently I have qualified pip and within a month I'm going on ML. So what I would tell you is --> agree for pip, on 60 days of pip discussion intentionally fail the pip, now they'll release you immediately by giving 2 to 3 months salary in hand, take it , meanwhile during ur pip u start searching for other jobs .. the effort u put in pip , can just be put in clearing interviews for other companies likewise you even get Salary and if God wills then you'll even get a new job

will they not mention the same on my experience letter?

If your husband is earning well, then yes—you can resign and spend time with your baby. This phase will never come back, but jobs will always be there in the future. Motherhood is the most precious gift, and no job can give you that kind of happiness.

See this is something very wrong..U should raise your voice against this..If possible resign and tell them u will face them by law..In a country like India this is not acceptable..Tell them because they can't do something like this with those who are coming after ML.

Instead of PIP, ask them to release you from project. You will get a better project with the respective experience.

Go with your baby to discuss PIP and show them, that if they are trying to harash you in this condition you could resign, or ask them that if they want your resignation and if yes just resign if you have backup plans.

As a person who is currently on ML, i have so many questions about job security and i completely understand your mindset now. First off, get the reasons straight for your PIP (preferably on record, if possible) Next, think through your priorities… it’s easy to just resign than struggling with this kinda work stress but discuss with your family about the commitments and how to handle things personally and then decide wisely on your alternative plan if things didn’t go well… lastly, whatever you decide to do just be confident and go ahead. Things will fall in place. Now, the ball is in your court… think well and decide “what you want”👍
