Hi folks, I need advice!
do we need to inform our manager about our participation in the bridge program. If so how prior should we inform them?
Asking because of the clash of timelines of the program and appraisal cycle.

Never inform manager until u cleared,it has no posutives only negative
I informed with good heart it was taken negatively as me trying to get out of project

Once you clear video assessment, an email will be sent automatically keeping your manager in CC

It's a formal courtesy not mandatory. Anyway if you get selected in the ACON a mail will be triggered looping your manager.
