I am working as JL4 in infosys. Recently I got promoted to JL5 through STEP UP IJP I received confirmation mail on 3rd October. May I know when this role will be changed in the system because I have been offered for onsite role and I need to travel by Feb. Since its Europe visa I heard it takes 9-12 weeks for the process. Since its a long term project and difficult for promotion after going onsite I requested manager to raise assignment with new role but as role didn’t change in the system she couldn’t do it with new role. So is there anyway like raising request to HR so that Visa can be raised on new role. Any suggestions/expert advices please.
Role change will be effective from next quarter (Jan 1). Pay is not much different for JL 4 in Europe.
Ok thanks fr the reply. But my concern about visa need to travel by feb so visa shld be raised by now so that benefits also according to JL5 is there any way to request HR ? or any other way
When is your promotion effective from? I believe unless the role is updated in the system your manager cannot file a new assignment with changed role.System takes 30-45 days to update after the letters get rolled out .
Not sure when it will be. But I could see in the step up selection mail release date is Nov 26th
Role changes can take a few weeks to reflect. Keep nudging HR and your manager, they might expedite it for your onsite assignment.
