Don’t join a company which doesn’t entertain 90 day notice period. That means they are not looking at you for long term. They are hiring on temp spike in demand the will throw you out also that quick when situation changes.

If they are looking at you as a long term prospect why would they not wait for you. They have an immediate requirement and their project can’t wait. What if that project falls through suddenly , you are redundant then !! Yes you can afford to lol it if you are less than 5 years exp!!! But anyone more than 5 years the should think before joining.

I feel trapped in Infosys due to this shit notice period scam, Don't have a good project, learnt nothing in Infosys, Now Whenever I try to apply for jobs, it's difficult even to land an interview Can't risk resigning first due to being the sole earner of the family

I agree with the other person. Don’t join an organisation which has a 90 day notice period, but expects candidates to join early.

A 90 day transition period is in place not only because they want to increase retention. It’s the frugality of the companies to not hire redundancy and work on things ice. Unfortunately, this saving is passed on to the client and this is why clients agree to offloading some dev work to companies like Infosys.

If they bill with redundancy, no client will come to Infosys unless the client themselves are quality conscious. Someone like Apple encourages redundancy, most of the others will not.
