Why it is so hard to get release from project. I'm working in support project from more than 1.5 years. Earlier I was working on a .Net support project and in this January I was transferred to other application which is shit, incidents are too frequent, multiple teams involved, code base is mess, nothing is working , no one knows what to do.

When I look back, no skill in enhanced from working in project.

A senior associate consultant and I'm working in team and manager and TL is expecting me to lead the team.

I know if I invest time in this support project, it will take all my time and I'll have no time to skill up.

I asked manager and TL to give me some good development work or release but they are saying clear no. When I asked to give me promotion to TA then also they said no.

My manager is saying that she will release me after when I'll become TL which will take atleast 7 to 8 years.😅😅😅
