Trending @Infosys; 2 week long leave to attend boyfriend convocation is germany

Does anyone know if infosys provide approval for visiting germany for family/friend convocation ceremony for 2 week or min 1 week I want to attend my boyfriend's(to be fiance) convocation ceremony on 2nd march 2026
Will HR/ Manager will give approval for this reason or else i need to give some fake reason in order to get approval basically i need approval for leaves from (23rd feb 26-6th march2026)
As i have an visa appointments on 2nd jan 2026 i neeed to get leaves approved by HR and manager
But i am not sure if they will provide approval for above reason
I need to provide trasparebcy to visa officer
Can someone provide suggestions on this it will be very helpful
Should i initmate by call with hr or manager or directly send them an email
Apply leaves saying that you are visiting Germany and they will approve . I went to Dubai for vacation for 10 days and applied leave and got it approved. The guys in Frankfurt immigration are sometimes very rude . They ask you all proofs . Even though I was on work contract they asked me questions like office address and the guy in front of me got rejected because he didn’t have hotel accommodation in Germany
So you mean i should not hide the true reason for applying leave in infosys also right
Yes . You cannot carry your work laptop to Germany. Immigration will check as you are on tourist visa and send you back there . So informing your manager the right reason is best cos if there’s any issue you can’t connect
