
Trending @Infosys; "100% of the employees would leave Infy if they got a better opportunity". Is this true?
Infy has been laying off people in the name of performance exits. It is not just that but the way they have handled it. They have fired people without any notice and even fired some people who were on leave. In my team this has caused a lot of anger, many of us are planning to quit even my manager.
This company has lost its reputation and trust among its employees now. People are now afraid to work here because they don’t know what will happen next.
If you are working at Infosys, then I would suggest that you start looking for another job as soon as possible. There is no guarantee that your job will be safe in the future.

Truth...living with fear everyday...each mail is increasing pulse rate....they are playing dirty games in name if cost cutting....released from project without any specific reason...gave bad rating even having dq-60 and said I was not performing well in project but this thing was never mentioned wehn I was in production... Now asking for Pip with worst task in the world... I was supposed to be sse in feb but this never happened ...neither my compensation got revised...when this used to be experience based basic progression and compensation change.....was working from office from August 2022 when no one else were coming only our team was there...never failed to work weekly thrice when they asked for hybrid....being frank this was the company I had prayed for and Today I am just praying toeave with a good offer.
Even in the future If I get to be in a higher position, I won't put my legs here ever....

Please don't trust rumors spreading in the company or outside about infosys.
There are deliberately spreading false rumors about infy.basically to make people leave themselves.
Stay in the company around 10 years.build solid skill set.it will help throughout your career.

Fake news is what u are spreading. Maybe tech and learning and infra wise Infosys is the worst regd. earning and for freshers especially.
I joined Infosys 4 years back as fresher with 3.75 lpa. Now i just resigned. My salary is now 5 lpa with 25 k as variable pay. I am even ashamed to showcase my salary.
It literally impacting my future as other companies are not ok with 200% hike which i need to atleast average my salary to market standards

And there is that tcs which is giving 30% salary hike as a good deal. I was literally disappointed. Many companies are trying to give only 50 to 70% HIke even though they have higher budget for my rolw.

Intact, it is true for any company. Bi tter truth is that people who are working from long time had a good ratings but the salary which they are getting is very low compre to new hires and industry. Whati s the point of beaing a too performer not having infustry package. I understand from infy two things 1. People who having long experience in Infy getting less salary. 2. People who is joined with good package they fallow practice hire and fire. 3. Very few people enjoying infosys interms of package and experience. I joined and undertand the matrix and moved on...!

I have been working as a lead from two years in Infy, as a Technology Analyst. So, here they will get their job done, with no hike or promotion.
So, I just initiated separation.
Guys, If you are not happy. Then just leave, and find some place to be happy. I can guarantee you one thing, there will be places worst than here, management at extreme micro level. So, this company is also good for some, and bad for some.
If you ask me, I am happy with work here, as I am a workaholic, but expect better pay for my efforts.

Now, I am having an offer in hand @80% hike. But Infosys, trying to retain me @40% hike.
They should have given this when I joined, as per market, they were paying very less.

100% of the people in any company would leave if they got a better opportunity but I dont think 100% is a right number for Infy.
A part of Infy is literally a sarkari daftar. You have to slog 7-8 years to get there, but once you do - you’d get less money but be very content with life in general.
And since the cost of replacing you is insane (because they’ve to pay more to hire at your level), they make do with your will-see attitude! Specially true for long-term partners, Internal Products and Infy Products.

Not sure what you are talking about. People fired will be given 3-4 months salary. Even if they choose PIp they get 2 months salary. People are being fired cause they were lateral taken at good hike but performance was bad, they are on bench and have too many conditions for a project. If you are on a project , billable and have rating of met expectations and above in last rating nothing to worry. No impact. If on bench with met expectations and above , don’t be too choosy about your projects unless you have strong connect in your unit.
