Trending @HCL; Why 3 years lock-in period for enrolling dependents in medi-assist medical insurance ?

My DOJ: Aug 19, and I didn’t know that there is a 3 year lock-in period for enrolling dependents.

Now It is asking for retirement proof of your parents (within 30 days) and marriage proof for spouse (within 45 days)

This is totally an unfriendly approach.

Anyone have any idea 💡 or suggestions?

It's fine , I missed to add spouse after 45 days but then I email ed the enrollment team and then they added it . They will add it for +10 days I think

So if i enroll my parents, only after 3 years lock in period we can able to claim cashless or reimbursed even they are admitted? For both hospitilization and OPD as well? Can anyone provide clarity on this please.
