Trending @HCL; Trying to get transferred out of Nagpur.

I've been trying to get transferred to Chennai(my home town) for a while now. I'm getting married in a few months and when HR said according to NV policy 'no transfers are allowed out of Nagpur', but when I asked for a specific policy they are referring to in the policy hub, now they flipped and said it's an NV leadership decision.

I know at least 7 people who got transferred out but they are not letting me. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Why did they transferred you to Nagpur Is it because of the project? You can try other NV locations in TN

Not because of the project, they transferred only freshers and techbees. We have the same project in Chennai too.

Transferring to other NV location just defeats the purpose of transfer itself.

If your manager is okay for your transfer, then you can proceed with it.

The manager is saying it's an HR decision and the HR is now saying "transfers out of the NV location is blocked"
