Trending @HCL; ๐ฌ The Great HCL Sweet Heist (Gone Wrong ๐ )
So hereโs what happened today at HCL Tech, Noida โ and honestly, Iโm still laughing (and lowkey embarrassed).
It was lunchtime, and I went down to the cafeteria like any normal hungry employee. Suddenly, I saw a mysterious distribution happening โ people were getting boxes that looked suspiciously like free gifts or sweets. Obviously, curiosity (and hunger) won.
I joined the line like a responsible citizen of HCL Nation, got my box, and thought, โNice! Company ne finally kuch sweet diya!โ ๐
But wait โ there was another line nearby. This one had bigger, more colorful boxes. And my inner voice whispered, โBhai, ye wala toh premium lag raha haiโฆโ
So I did what any new joiner with FOMO would do โ joined that line too. ๐
Just when I was about to secure my second sweet victory, I noticed people werenโt allowed to take two boxes. So I quickly tried to hide the first box (Ninja mode: ON ๐ฅท).
But then โ tragedy struck. A guy suddenly appeared out of nowhere like an HR Avenger and said:
โExcuse me! Why are you taking it twice?โ
Before I could say anything, he asked for my SAP ID, managerโs name, and then โ plot twist โ took away both boxes. ๐
Apparently, those gifts were for a specific project team, not everyone. And me? A newly joined, innocent soul, caught red-handed in the โGreat Sweet Scandal of HCL Noida.โ
Now Iโm sitting here empty-handed, wondering โ โข Was it karma? โข Was it bad luck? โข Or was it HCLโs secret test to see who gets tempted by free sweets? ๐
Anyway, lesson learned: If you ever see free boxes in cafeteria โ confirm before queuing up.
Now Iโm genuinely curious โ ๐ What do you think could happen next? ๐ If you were in my place, how would you explain this โsweet misunderstandingโ to HR or your manager?

Sweet story with sad ending

Haha if you could have left with one you would have got it, but anyway it was team specific so it's better that we don't take it.

Hcl will never give free gifts even organization profit millions of dollars

I was part of that project, i would say it was mismanagement on their part. As they were unable to separate those of their project and other employees in cafe. They should have distributed while everyone was seated.

Ye chindiChor kisi ko ky de skte he bhai... Tmhari story achi thi wse ๐๐
