Trending @HCL; Technology and Hike Issue
I joined project as Java resource and manager told that they have work related to java but they give me work related to Linux,expects me to resolve issues in c code there is very less java work. Now they are forcing me to learn and work on security issues in project. Almost 3 years passed here and I got no hike,no 100% variable. I feel stuck. Please guide. I'm experienced employee but due to some personal reasons I continue to work as per their expectations.
If you are stuck in HCL you cant expect hike or promotion. You can try switching companies or ask for internal rotations. If you are staying more than 18 months in a project you can ask for release and move to bench. Check with WPC team for job vacancies they should help you. Update your skill profile regularly. Also you try internal job post (in my hcl)
Yes they are not promising about hike and promotion,only saying, hcl don't give hike but they have given others
Just send an email to your manager ccing HR stating that since there is no growth in this project you want release from this project as you have already completed 18 months & eligible for it. Update your resume and mention immediate joiner And start searching job outside as well as try moving internally
