Trending @HCL; Suggestions before resigning

I joined HCL straight out of college, I am from Electronics background & my senior from college who was placed here got some VLSI work, she asked me to join stating that it was the best thing that she did, I joined & then I came to know & I am gonna be in the lowest department of company & it's no where related to VLSI, somehow I kept my cool because my personal life was already in shambles, & the last thing you would want when there are fireworks in your personal life is for your professional life to explode like a Chinese New Year.

The work was monotonous, teammates were some robots doing as they were told, and the team lead such a jerk that the more you would say about him, the less it is, first I used to think that he is the only jerk until I came to know about our SDM, it's just not one person, they all are dimwits from top to bottom, dimwits with 0 empathy for the well being of an employee. & oh god don't make me talk about the compensation, only 4% increment on CTC

Somehow I survived my 16 months with God's grace, & I am really thankful to God for that, to be honest I don't even know how I made it till now with a staggering personal life and a toxic environment at work, but I don't wanna continue anymore and thinking of resigning, I cannot tolerate the work & environment for one more day, so I was thinking that should I come on bench or should I resign, but I don't know what's the time for bench and for notice period, if someone knows that then please tell, and I also want to know how one can transfer the PF and what would happen to Medical Insurance once I resign. Can anyone tell me about the things that I need to take care of before resigning, because I heard that they stop your salary if you resign

Keep learning and prepare yourself for interviews. Keep applying and giving interviews. On Naukari always keep notice period less than 15 days whenever you are looking for a job. Then explain HR caller I can get early release to get calls and interview rounds. Just go for it man. And don't worry about anything else. If you want to you can resign after getting that month's salary but in that case you won't be able to negotiate the release date you might have to serve notice of as high as 90 days or as less as 0 days. Nothing to worry just get out of toxic place.

Those who are at junior level should resign in such a situation.

No need to go for the bench

Looks like upon resigning that months salary or the next month depending on when you are resigning will be with held and given in Full and Final settlement (F&F)

Bro, just resign yaar. Don't waste your time on bench, it's not worth it. Transfer your PF through UAN portal, it's easy. Medical insurance will stop once you resign, so get a new one asap. And don't worry about salary, they can't stop it legally. Just get out of that toxic place and find something better. 💪
