Hello Everyone Need some clarification, anyone help me How our salary Bifurcation can be help for future Like basic, hra , etc etc In new company or after appraisal can we ask our HR or manager to increase some basic rather than adding allowance while appraisal.

Basic Hra Holiday allowance Bha Food wallet Etc etc Assume my salary was 7L pa And after appraisal or joining in new company its 10Lpa

Can we ask to add more amount in such categories like basic and HRA rather adding in allowances.

Because future increment or bonus will be based on basic, am i right or wrong.

Increase of Basic has impact on HRA, PF, NPS etc… So, increasing Basic component is obviously better than allowance. However, does that happen in HCLTECH? That I’m unsure of. But no doubt you can try asking for it.
