Trending @HCL; Regarding UAN Number
I was working in HCL from 2022 Aug but I don't have UAN number when I try to reach out HR regarding this I got reply as "UAN is not mandatory in hcl, because it has trust for PF, it has no correlation with EPFO portal" Can someone help me with this
Did you have a UAN from a prior company, if yes did you pass it on to hcl when you joined?..regardless of useless response from HR about no correlation with epfo portal). Raise a SSD with the pf team.. they'll be able to guide you... If u still don't get it.. try to raise a request to epfo portal itself

Ya force to create uan, once you switch you will be asked to provide uan and that will decide your work history. Companies like accenture can reject you for not matching work history what you are showing in cv and what is there in uan.
