I joined hcl in June 2024 and the project for which i was hired is on hold as of now and waiting for project, asked RM multiple times about the project but the same response- please wait we do have few more projects in pipeline.
Anyone has any idea how to get project
Kind of same happend to me but I joined as fresher back in 2022. I was aligned to medical domain and relocated to chennai because of that.
I got so many project opportunities outside my aligned domain and I was in training code at that time, because freshers assigned that code itself.
Even though I never applied I got opportunities for the desired skillset and location, whenever I asked my manager he will always say wait we have projects in pipeline till the time do training, KT sessions and POC.
I kind of trusted him as fresher I was not aware this much. And this happend to me till 1.5yrs, even though someone will block my profile my RM denies to leave me never give billability more of a ideal i will say.
And after 1.5 yrs all of sudden they give me bench code when i texted him he told look for other opportunities. I was Like W*F, that time I realised they are just using you but your career is going on darker side.
I was in bench then past 2.5 months and now recently I got project because of my learnings and intrest to get into project.
This is my story, i will strongly suggest you to ask for billable projects else look for other porject opportunities dont let them play with your career. I repeat DONT.
