Trending @HCL; Please guide...

I have been working in HCL for 3 years and recently got an offer from EY. Can anyone please guide how to talk to RM about resigning professionally. Also the official notice period is 90 days but I need release in 30-45 days. I am a non billable resource. In which project I was working on got production approval but currently is on hold and as of now nothing is in my name. For the last 3 weeks I have had no work. When to talk about the early release to my RM or the HR? I have no clue pls guide

Early release is possible if not a billable resource, also we are close to Mar 2026. But if things don't go as expected, need to have alternate options. Request new org for an extension of Doj, tell them that you have lot of dependencies. Also have a backup offer with proper Doj considering 90 days np.
