Why HCL does not pay shift allowance, on-call allowance (whether you have worked or stand by). How does labour law support it?

I guess shift allowance is for only specific locations. I used to work at hcl Madurai they used to give us Shift allowances but no cabs after I’ve moved to Chennai loc they said there won’t be shift allowance and you will be getting cabs instead. I don’t know how that works but it is what it is

Yes, they pay shift allowance only for NV location.

They don't pay Shift allowance. That's it.

They're not given shift allowance and comb-off also , really sad.

They will give shift allowance in NB location only, Madurai, Lucknow, Kochi etc
